2 things

it questions if i'll ever grow up. but anyway...

this one's for ben

the trailer to "we heart katamari"

you should have seen this, but if you haven't you MUST!

the second is a guy that labours in the aesthetics of lego. purely inspired visions of techno/mechanics.

the cool and the hip

a new genre in music, obviously a reflection of the almost post-elitist New York art scene.

i can really dig where this movement will potentially go.

i respect those chillout albums, even though a bit trite, the general public seem to enjoy it.

as for the raise of NewYork based music, im not holding my breath.

for the future of man kind, this search for the perfect non-mainstream movie back-ground music (which i have catagoriezed as indie-movie-ambient, from indie movies) will result in people wearing the successor of ipod (aka the iear) which plays/filters this music softly in your ear and crashendoes or plays a definitive song at appropriate moments of your life. the music is also drowned out by the actually noise you listen to in real life. conversations with people will have a sutble undertone of pleasent music. angry will be amplified by hardcore music. our escapism will be in our life's as quirky indie films.

as for our collections of music, we will pay a tax a year and be able to get all the music we want. the music industry will corporately collapse, giving way to the relationship developed with creative commons in the indie audio/visual world.

i know its a dream, but its a good one, right?
